About
JEN POGUE is an award-winning creator, host, performer, producer, and writer.
Recent on-screen credits include APPLE TV’s Ghost Writer, Netflix’s I Woke Up a Vampire, CTV’s Hudson & Rex, and CBC’s Endlings.

As a Producer and Filmmaker, Jen has worked on many short and long narrative projects as a contributing member to the Film Collective/Production Company FILMCOOP INC. Their vast slate of award winning films of all genres have premiered at festivals across the globe including The Toronto International Film Festival, Palm Springs, Raindance, Whistler; and can currently be found streaming on Crave Canada, CBC Gem, Prime Video, Apple TV, Highball TV, Super Channel, Reel Women's Network, Short of the Week, Omeleto and more.

Jen co-created, co-produced, and co-hosted three seasons of the podcast WOMEN ON SCREEN OUT LOUD, alongside creative partner Lara Jean Chorostecki. She currently serves as the Director of Industry for CANADIAN FILM FEST, a festival dedicated to fostering Canadian voices and indie filmmaking. Jen launched her company JPO & CO Entertainment Inc. with the newly released COUNTY BLOOMS, a digital lifestyle episodic garden and craft series that celebrates local business owners who work with flowers across Peterborough County. Inspired by her own passions for floral art, Jen created and hosted the show as well as co-produced and co-directed alongside Avi Federgreen. COUNTY BLOOMS is currently airing across the nation on Bell Fibe TV1, and has been nominated for multiple awards including best lifestyle, best host, best educational series and recently took home a jury prize honourable mention from TO Webfest.

In 2021 Jen was unfortunately rocked with a de novo stage IV triple negative breast cancer diagnosis. After two years on a cutting edge clinical trial treatment, she's back on her feet and works on many projects as a Key Collaborator, Patient Advocate, Consultant, and Speaker with RETHINK BREAST CANCER. Jen is passionate about spreading awareness for the cause and bridging the gap between research and the patient experience by sharing her story and perspectives.
